Gokayama Ainokura Gassho-zukuri village
Stayed in this Takayama hotel last night. 2 people slept in the hotel and 2 people slept in the campervan in the carpark next door.
It snowed overnight
Checked weather forecast and I think it snowed overnight in Shirakawago so decided to drive there for the day.
Tried to drive to the Shirakawago observation deck and the village but it was packed with tourists and carpark was full.
So decide to drive to another village Ainokura Gassho-zukuri village instead.
And later that afternoon, earthquake struck.
My first time witness an earthquake and I did see a small land slide here (mountains in this photo)
Shortly after news made headlines all around the world.
